American Car
I painted my car red, white, and blue to
show my support for the war on terrorism
in August 2005.
I believe that we did the right thing in
going into Iraq as we believed that there
were weapons of mass destruction. In fact,
there were. Many of us believe that they
were moved out while we were preparing
for the attack.
This, however, was not the only reason for
going into Iraq. Sudam was torturing his
people. The people of Iraq deserved
freedom from this tyrant.
In August 2008 I decided that it was time to
change the paint job on my car. We had
basically won the war in Iraq and had put the
terrorists on the run.
I wanted to copy the paint job that was done
in 102 Dalmatians. My daughter, Ashley,
pointed out the ears and my car became the
'cow car'.
In May 2009 I repainted my car to the
perfect paint job. I am very happy with it.
However, two weeks after I painted it the
engine cracked. It makes me very sad
that I will have to junk it.
The car ended up with over 280,000 miles.
The new engine had nearly 100,000. It
had a good life.
