Sylvia and I were married in the Philippines

When Sylvia came to the United States, we lived in Sonora
California. We lived there from May 1993 until February 1995. It was
a great time to be together and learn about each other. It was while we
lived here that Shyla came into the world.
In May of 1995 we moved to Grand Coulee, WA and took over the
Umbrella Motel until September 1997.
In October 1997 we took charge of the Eight Bar B Motel and sayed
here until November 1999. It was while we lived here that both
Nathaniel and Ashley were brought into the world.
In November 1999 we moved to Vancouver, WA and stayed there
until September 2000. We then moved to Hawaii and lived on the Big
Island. We stayed there until March 2002. It was like an 18 month
vacation.
We moved back to Wilbur, then to Cheney. We took over the Eight
Bar B Motel again in April 2004 and stayed there until January 2010.
My parents, John and Nancy Gilson, are now running the motel.

Sylvia started working at the
Quest Hotel at the Northern Quest
Casino at the end of December.
The rest of the family moved into
Airway Heights on January 31.
